What is this service? How does it work?

'Distance repair' is a convenient way to get a device to us for service without having to physically call in to us or book a callout, which is advantageous if you are not local to us. It means you can send the computer to us at your own convenience, and from anywhere in the country. Once received, we will diagnose the issue for a fee (to include testing and return postage) and advise you of any repairs or upgrades that can be made. We will contact you to discuss this and, if agreed, arrange further payment. Then we will dispatch the newly-serviced  device back to you. Note that very minor software configuration changes may not be charged extra.
